Heat Map On Percentage Private Rented Homes That Are EPC D And Below

With potential changes to EPC regulations on the horizon, Attleborough landlords could soon face new energy efficiency standards. Our latest map highlights where local rental homes may need improvements — and where opportunities lie.

In England and Wales, the current minimum Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating requirement for private rental properties is an E. The government has suggested that this could be raised to a C by 2028 although no final decision has been made.
This map shows Attleborough and highlights the percentage of private rental homes with an EPC rating of D or below. The darker areas represent parts of Attleborough with a higher proportion of less efficient homes. The lighter areas show where the percentage is lower.
While nothing is confirmed yet these maps give an idea of where landlords in Attleborough may face the biggest challenges and opportunities if the rules change. If you have any questions about what this might mean for you, please do contact our office.

If you’re planning to sell your home in Attleborough, there’s a truth you can’t ignore: not every property makes it from “For Sale” to “Sold.” While some homes attract buyers quickly, others linger and quietly disappear from the market. The difference isn’t luck—it’s about strategy, timing, and knowing what really sells here.

Autumn may not be the first season that comes to mind when people think about moving, but it can be a surprisingly strong time to sell. Buyers who are still active at this stage of the year tend to be serious about completing before Christmas or the new year. With the right preparation, your home can stand out and attract motivated buyers even as the nights draw in.
