Landlords back proposal to extend Capital Gains Tax deadline

Landlords have welcomed a proposal by the Office for Tax Simplification to extend the 30 day payment of Capital Gains Tax to 60 days.

It is not certain the government will act on the proposal, which was announced yesterday, but the recommendation is one of 14 made by the OTS to reduce confusion and dissatisfaction with how CGT is implemented. To continue reading, please Click Here
