Today we launch our Meet The Team Series

Estate Agency has always been, and always will be, a people orientated business, people buy people, high levels of customers service count for everything in the property world of buying and selling, so beginning today we introduce you to our people who make up the successful Millbanks Team, beginning with our director Tony Beales.

Tony is the main man at Millbanks, but he’s far too modest to say that.
He took over the agency back in 1994, having already spent ten years working in the estate agency industry.
He started as an office junior in the mid 1980's with a goal to drive a shiny, new company Ford Escort Mk3.
Fast forward four decades, and now he is the driving force behind what we do here today. In his 27 years of running the business at Millbanks he’s experienced many changes in the property industry and closer to home the business has dealt with an office fire and a flood, but his focus is always firmly on the future, always looking add and improve.
Tony said: “I’ve always wanted Millbanks to improve every year and give our clients the best possible service offering we can".
“It’s why we’ve invested heavily over the years in training our team, improving our infrastructure and bettering anything we feel will benefit our clients".
Tony is a lifelong Norwich City fan, having made his Carrow Road debut as a youngster in the mid-1970s when his dad took him to matches.
He’s also a very keen runner and is the current Chairman of Wymondham Athletics Club.
Tony’s top tip for homeowners thinking of selling: Don’t go with cheap fee agencies if you value good service and your sanity. You may save a few hundred pounds, but it can leave you thousands of pounds out of pocket due to not always getting you the best possible price for your property.
Tony’s top tip for landlords: You must keep on top of legislation. There are so many rules and regulations that you need to be aware of. If you’re not, the consequences can be severe, so it’s a good idea to use a letting agent who knows the constantly changing rules. Also, when maintenance issues present themselves act quickly to get the jobs done as soon as possible. This keeps the tenant happy because as we like to say to our landlords ‘it’s their home in your hands.’

This visual snapshot reveals how property values rarely move in unison. Some streets surge ahead, others advance more quietly, each following its own rhythm. It’s a reminder that markets are made of micro stories, where proximity alone doesn’t guarantee the same outcome.

Thinking of selling your Attleborough home? New data shows it takes an average of 57 days to find a buyer — but this varies widely by property type and price. With just under half of homes failing to sell, smart pricing and strong marketing are key to securing the best result in today’s market.

As Attleborough’s property market becomes more competitive, pricing strategy has never been more crucial. With twice as many homes for sale as three years ago, sellers must think smart to stand out. This article explores how price bands, reductions, and timing can make all the difference in achieving a successful sale.
