What to expect in the first weeks of your home being up for sale

Here’s what you can expect to happen in the first few weeks of your property being on the market with us.

A two-minute read.
Once we’ve agreed on the marketing strategy we feel will deliver the price you’ll be delighted with, we set about making things happen.
The first two to four weeks of a property hitting the market is a crucial period.
It can be the difference between success and failure. The good news is we’ve been launching properties into the local market since 1994.
And over those years, we’ve learnt what works and what doesn’t.
Don’t Rush the First Part
Unlike some agencies who cut corners and rush to get a property on the market, we take our time to ensure everything is done correctly before showcasing it to potential buyers.
We have a four-day turnaround from when we’re chosen to sell a property until launching it.
This gives us the necessary time to create the marketing which will help deliver the best possible price.
We organise the photography, create the floorplans and property listings, and arrange the social media coverage, including a Facebook Live video filmed outside your home.
More than ever before, social media is helping to sell properties. Hundreds of potential local buyers follow our Facebook page and every new property we showcase on it leads to interest being generated in it.
We Have Lift-Off
Once all the marketing materials are in place, we’ll upload your property’s details to Rightmove, Zoopla and our own website.
We’ll also harness the power of social media to get your home out there, grabbing attention and driving interest and demand.
We will also contact our database of buyers interested in properties like yours in that area.
This matchmaking service often generates a lot of interest BEFORE the property is advertised on the property portals.
This proactive approach is allied to thoughtful marketing, and the widespread exposure means you should experience an influx of viewings in the first 2-4 weeks of being up for sale.
We’re On It
We’ll handle all the requests for viewings, ensuring that potential buyers can proceed if they come up with the right offer.
We will also accompany all viewings and pass on all feedback at least once a week.
During those follow-up calls, we will also discuss what we’re doing to ensure your property is being showcased to make the most of its potential.

Have it Your Way
You’ll want to know what’s going on with your sale.
And that’s why we’ll use your preferred method of communication to keep you updated, be that the phone, messaging, or email.
We also set up handy What’s App Groups so messages can be shared with more than one person and kept all in one convenient place on your mobile phone.
Clients find this service invaluable as we will, if available, respond out of hours to questions and concerns.
The first few weeks of your home being up for sale is a window of opportunity that we make certain benefits you and leads to your sale’s success.

When most Attleborough homeowners list their property, they expect it to sell. Yet the reality is more uncertain, with outcomes varying widely. The difference often comes down to strategy, not luck. So what truly determines success, and why do so many homes fail to move? Read the article to find out more.

Over the past 25 years, UK house prices have risen significantly, quietly building wealth for homeowners along the way. While markets move in cycles, the long-term trend remains clear. For many households, their home has become one of the most consistent and powerful drivers of personal wealth.

January 2026 showed a market regaining momentum. Across much of the UK, sales agreed are running ahead of two years ago, led by the Midlands and East. Scotland and Wales are also strengthening. London remains mixed, and Northern Ireland softer. This is not a boom, but a steady, broad based rebuild driven by realistic pricing.

More households are reassessing space in early 2026. If your home feels tighter than it once did, this spring may offer the right conditions to move up.
